Dressing Recipe: Tahini Dressing

Tahini Dressing is good with lamb, vegetables, green salads, spread inside wraps and a must with falafel!


  • 1 cup tahini paste
  • 3 large cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cold water


  1. Stir tahini and garlic together in a deep bowl.
  2. Beat in the lemon juice, salt, and water.  If the sauce is much thicker than mayonnaise, beat in a little more water, 1 tablespoon at a time until it does resemble a rather solid mayonnaise.
  3. Add more salt and/or garlic, if desired.

Makes about 2 cups.  Though the ingredients contain some natural preservatives, the dressing should be refrigerated.
